Job Description
Pinewood is based on the idea of creating a social gathering "third space" that can accommodate guests' needs morning, noon, and night. Our dynamic restaurant offers unique and flavorful Americana fare expanded into four menus: day, dinner, mid-day, and brunch, paired with a bar program offering everything from draft beers to craft cocktails. As a Barista at Pinewood Social, you will craft high-quality coffee beverages, engage with guests, and contribute to the overall positive experience of our space.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages according to company standards. Provide friendly, welcoming, and efficient customer service to all guests. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Operate and maintain coffee equipment, ensuring it is clean and in proper working condition. Work efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining quality and consistency. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations. Assist in restocking supplies, inventory management, and general café upkeep. Educate customers about different coffee options and menu offerings. Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.Qualifications:
Previous barista experience preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Passion for coffee, food, and hospitality. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Pay:
