Job Description
About Us Lucille's General Store is a Pigeon Forge staple — part old-fashioned general store, part coffee bar, part Blue Bell ice cream counter, with a 40-seat outdoor patio out front. We're looking for a friendly, dependable barista to help us serve up great coffee and an even better experience to locals and the millions of visitors who pass through the Smokies every year. What You'll Do Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, and other beverages to order, quickly and consistently Operate our Square POS, Square KDS, and self-order kiosk system Keep the coffee bar clean, stocked, and ready for the next rush Scoop and serve Blue Bell ice cream and help out at the general store counter during slower stretches Greet every customer with genuine, small-town hospitality Handle basic opening/closing duties (restocking, cleaning, cash drawer) What We're Looking For A positive attitude and a strong work ethic — no experience required, but prior barista or food service experience is a plus Comfortable on your feet during busy tourist-season shifts Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and some holidays (our biggest days!) Basic comfort with POS/kiosk technology Must be able to work in a fast-paced retail/food environment Schedule Lucille's is open 8:30 AM - 9:30 PM. Shifts vary — we're happy to work with your availability, especially for part-time and seasonal staff.
