We're looking for a dedicated Barista to join our team who shares our passion for great coffee and excellent customer service. As a Barista at DP, you will be the face of our cafe, crafting exceptional coffee beverages and ensuring a pleasant experience for every customer. In addition to your barista duties, you will assist with general cafe operations, including cleaning, restocking, and supporting the kitchen and bakery staff when needed. We're looking for someone adaptable, eager to learn, and a team player.

Tasks include:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks to the highest standards.
• Operate and maintain cleanliness and function of all coffee equipment.
• Engage with customers, taking orders, offering recommendations, and providing excellent service.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including work area, counters, seating areas, floors, bathrooms, and equipment.
• Assist with stocking supplies and ensuring the availability of products throughout the shift.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
• Assist kitchen and bakery staff during peak times or as needed.
• Adapt to various tasks and responsibilities, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Uphold all health and safety regulations within the cafe environment. Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required ; we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• A positive attitude, with a passion for coffee and customer service.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility in work schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks, such as lifting supplies. We offer
