Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate Square POS system to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and answering questions about menu items. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and dining spaces, and farm stand and adhering to food safety standards. Manage cash handling duties with accuracy while processing cash transactions and giving correct change. Assist in food preparation tasks related to beverages and light snacks, ensuring timely delivery of orders. Support time management by prioritizing tasks during busy periods to maintain smooth operations. Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
