As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and providing outstanding customer service. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced café setting and have a love for coffee and food service. Duties Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system efficiently to process customer orders and handle cash transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas. Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with food handling safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients; communicate needs to management as necessary. Skills Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly POS, for order processing and cash handling. Experience in the food industry or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in sales or customer service roles is an advantage. A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and a passion for coffee culture are essential for success in this role.
