•whether it be a cup of craft coffee from a highly trained barista or just a place to hang out and drink a flavored latte. We are not coffee snobs, but we know our stuff. We are not too slow or too fast. An EDMG Barista ensures all customers have a superior experience from entry to exit. This role requires excellent work ethic, superior customer service skills, developed coffee and tea knowledge, and reliability. EDMG Baristas are continually seeking to improve their bar skills, welcome feedback and opportunities for growth, and work efficiently and accurately. We also like to have a good time at EDMG, so a welcoming personality, humor, and flexibility is crucial in all employees. It is an expectation that Baristas are available a minimum of three shifts a week to ensure consistency and collegiality though at times exceptions may be made to shift minimums. The following is a non-exhaustive list of the main expectations of an

EDMG Barista:

1. Accountability a. Arrives to all shifts on time b. Implement accurate bar skills, know the EDMG menu and execute drink builds accurately and efficiently c. Take accountability for ticket times and shift checklists 2. Stewardship a. Practice accurate cash handling and drawer counting procedures with utmost integrity b. Reduces product and time waste through accurate and mindful work 3. Hospitality a. Abides by all customer service standards, protocols, and processes 100% of the time 4. Communication a. Receives and accepts feedback from Lead Baristas and/or ownership b. Sends feedback, suggestions, and concerns to Lead Baristas and/or ownership in a timely manner as needed c. Ensures availability and changes in availability are communicated to ownership 5. EDMG Experience a. Upholds a high standard of quality and consistency for EDMG products b. Continues to grow in personal expertise in coffee and tea c. Ensures daily cleanliness of facilities, equipment, and all appliances EDMG Baristas undergo continuous, informal feedback processes with the Lead Baristas and Management/Ownership. EDMG believes in its staff and provides the opportunity to improve should concerns arise.
