Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, and other non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes and food safety standards. Process retail sales transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments with accuracy. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, seating areas, and food handling zones to ensure a safe and inviting environment. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling baked goods or snacks to enhance customer experience. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards. Follow all food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Skills Previous barista or café experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with beverage service and food industry standards. Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales accurately. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and processing transactions efficiently. Knowledge of non-alcoholic beverage preparation techniques including coffee brewing, drink mixing, and presentation. Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently to uphold hygiene standards in food service environments. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail.
