FOOD SERVICE EXPERIENCE REQ'D

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic entry-level Barista to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for customer service and coffee. No prior barista experience is required—we'll provide training! Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Operate the POS system to process orders accurately and efficiently Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to company standards Provide exceptional customer service with a welcoming and positive attitude Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including the bar area, condiment station, and seating areas Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times Assist with stocking supplies, rotating inventory, and restocking displays Work as part of a team to ensure smooth store operations during all shifts Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-in-one and small group situations, to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Certificates and Licenses They will need to have a food handlers card or be prepared to get one after 90 days of hire.
