We are looking for an experienced, craft-focused Barista to take ownership of our morning coffee service. If you are tired of irregular schedules, closing shifts, and corporate coffee environments, this is your out. You will work a set 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule in a beautiful, premium environment, leaving your evenings entirely free. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Mix, bake, assemble, and display fresh bakery items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and offering product recommendations Process retail sales transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, and food preparation surfaces in accordance with food safety standards Handle cash register operations including processing cash transactions and managing cash handling responsibilities with accuracy Assist in food handling and food safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations and quality standards Qualifications Proven experience as a barista or bakery associate within the food service or retail industry Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and café operations Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Basic math skills for cash handling, transaction processing, and inventory management Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
