Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other drink service items with attention to quality and presentation Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accountability Maintain cleanliness of the café area by performing regular cleaning duties and adhering to food safety standards Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or concerns with professionalism Assist in food handling and food preparation tasks to ensure all offerings meet safety standards and quality expectations Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining high standards of beverage service and drink quality Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong cash handling skills required Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash register operations Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours Join us in creating a lively café atmosphere where every cup brewed and every guest served makes a difference!
