Rustika Cafe & Bakery Katy is looking for a warm, energetic Barista & Guest Services team member to join our growing family! Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, espresso beverages, and other café menu items to order Greet and assist guests with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure an exceptional customer experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and handle cash and card transactions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, counter, and equipment throughout the shift Restock pastry cases, beverages, and supplies as needed to support smooth daily operations Answer guest questions about menu items, ingredients, and bakery offerings Collaborate with team members to manage rush periods and maintain efficient service flow

Requirements:

Previous barista and customer service experience is required Strong communication skills and a naturally friendly, guest-first attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced café environment Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented work ethic Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and POS transactions Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire Flexible availability including weekends, mornings, and holidays
