Duties Prepare and serve a variety of matcha-based drinks, including lattes, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Shopify POS and Toast POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Engage with customers warmly, providing expert product recommendations and ensuring excellent customer service Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by handling food products responsibly and following proper food handling procedures Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations for sales transactions Assist in food preparation and food service tasks to support overall café operations Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction Requirements Previous barista experience, especially with matcha or specialty beverages, is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Shopify POS and Toast POS Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours Basic math proficiency for sales calculations, cash handling, and retail math tasks Experience in the food industry or café environment is advantageous but not mandatory Join us if you're passionate about crafting exceptional drinks, delivering outstanding service, and thriving in a dynamic café setting!
