Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accurate cash handling records. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation stations, beverage equipment, and customer seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and responding to inquiries professionally. Assist in food handling and food preparation tasks as needed to support smooth café operations. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety standards. Skills Proven experience as a barista or in food service within the food industry; café experience is highly valued. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Knowledge of non-alcoholic beverage preparation, drink service, and food safety protocols. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations. Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling techniques and adherence to health regulations.
