A Barista prepares and serves coffee and other beverages at coffee houses or coffee bars. Takes customer orders, serves baked goods and snacks, runs and maintains coffee making equipment and monitors supplies.

Job Description
Required Qualifications & SkillsMinimum 2+ years of experience as a barista in a specialty coffee shop.
Proven expertise with semi-automatic espresso machines and grinder calibration (dialing in).Strong technical skills in espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art.
Experience with manual brewing methods (e.g., V60, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press).
Excellent communication and customer service skills: Ability to build rapport with regular customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment: Strong multitasking skills and the ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
Must have or be able to obtain a valid Food Handler's Permit.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)Previous experience as a shift lead, supervisor, or trainer.
