Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service to enhance their café experience Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, beverage equipment, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate processing of payments and giving correct change Restock supplies regularly to ensure availability of ingredients and beverage items throughout shifts Follow food handling procedures diligently to uphold food safety and quality standards Skills Proven experience in food service or café environments with barista experience preferred Strong knowledge of beverage service, drink preparation, and food handling techniques Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction processing Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper cleaning procedures to maintain hygiene standards Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm for coffee and dedication to excellent service make a real difference!
