As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting café environment, and providing outstanding customer service. You will play a key role in ensuring that every guest leaves with a smile and a perfect cup of coffee. Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and answering any questions about menu items. Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in basic math calculations. Follow food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products served. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Stay updated on coffee trends and menu offerings to provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers. Experience Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Basic math skills are essential for handling cash transactions accurately. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus; certification in food handling is desirable.
