LA SOUQ, a woman-owned specialty coffee shop in Richardson, TX, is hiring an Experienced Barista / Assistant Manager. We're looking for a reliable, experienced individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to be part of something meaningful. Immediate Responsibilities:
Oversee and assist in daily store operations, including opening, mid-day, and closing procedures Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are upheld throughout the cafe Lead and motivate a team of baristas to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high product quality (specialty coffee & latte art experience required) Prepare all menu items (including coffee, matcha, tea, refreshers, gourmet toasts, and desserts) to spec Assist in training and onboarding new team members Manage inventory, ordering, and product quality (with support from ownership)
Qualifications:
Minimum 6 months of food & beverage experience required Minimum 6 months of specialty coffee and advanced latte art experience required Comfortable working independently and as a leader and resource for the team Able to multitask, with excellent communication and customer service skills Punctual and reliable Why Join LA SOUQ?
