Barista

Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Operate POS systems TOAST accurate cash handling and sales transactions Provide friendly, attentive customer service to ensure a positive experience for all guests Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating zones Handle food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices Assist with food preparation and serving of light snacks or baked goods as needed Manage cash register operations, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and balancing registers at shift end Requirements Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math accurately for sales transactions and retail math calculations Experience in food service or retail environments within the food industry is advantageous Capable of standing for extended periods while maintaining energy and focus Reliable team player with good communication skills Embark on a rewarding journey in the vibrant world of café hospitality!
