Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality beverages, and handle all cashiering responsibilities with accuracy and professionalism. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant café environment, providing a positive experience for our customers while maintaining food safety standards and efficient operations. Applicants must be available to work Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Availability during these hours is required to be considered for this position. Responsibilities Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks and other beverages according to Panicafe's established recipes and quality standards Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system and cash register Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and promotions Recommend products and upsell add-ons to enhance the customer experience and increase sales Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues as needed Maintain cleanliness of the café, including counters, equipment, and dining room areas Restock supplies and assist with inventory as needed Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety protocols at all times Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without sacrificing quality Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations Experience Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers. Experience in food service is a plus. Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail. This role requires a dedicated individual who values teamwork, maintains high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and demonstrates excellent communication skills to ensure an enjoyable customer experience.
