In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of teas, coffees, snacks, and light food items. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will create memorable experiences for every guest, ensuring smooth operations and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Whether you're crafting the perfect latte or assisting customers at the register, your energy and dedication will help us thrive together! Duties Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service throughout their visit Prepare and serve a variety of teas, coffees, snacks, and light food items with precision and care Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and swiftly Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and dining spaces Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy using POS systems Restock supplies, manage inventory levels, and ensure the café remains inviting and well-organized Assist in food handling and basic food preparation tasks following safety protocols Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction Uphold food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times Support team members in daily operations to create a seamless café experience for guests Experience Previous barista or coffee shop experience is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee brewing techniques is a plus Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions accurately Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Experience in food industry roles involving serving, food preparation, or retail math is beneficial Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm fuels memorable moments for our guests!
