Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality coffee and Boba teas. Your exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail will ensure that every guest has an enjoyable experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies. Follow food safety and handling procedures to ensure the highest quality of products served. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication. Stay updated on menu items, promotions, and seasonal offerings to provide informed recommendations to customers. Requirements Previous experience in the food service or coffee industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Familiarity with cash registers or POS systems is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food handling practices is beneficial for ensuring safety standards are met. A passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.
