At Gong Cha Tomball, we are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused barista to join our team. The barista will prepare and serve high-quality beverages and food items, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a clean and welcoming café environment. Prepare and serve teas, coffees, and other beverages according to company recipes and standards Operate equipment such as tea brewers, induction cookers, blenders, etc. Take customer orders accurately and process payments using POS systems Provide friendly and efficient customer service Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment Restock supplies such as cups, lids, syrups, and food items Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Handle customer concerns professionally Assist with opening and closing duties Potential

SHIFT LEADER POSITION

includes, but not limited to: overseeing the store workflow, guiding other team members in problem solving, maintaining inventory, assisting with training for new hires, and opening/closing the cash register.

Requirements:

Able to lift 35 lbs in weight.

Education:

High school or equivalent (Required) Work authorization: United States (Required) Previous barista or food service experience is a plus (but not required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for handling cash transactions Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays Adherence to safety and food handling procedures is expected, as is the adherence to local, state, and federal health and sanitation laws. Minimum 3 shifts required per week, must be available to work at minimum 1 weekend shift per week.
