weekday mornings only and fill-in shifts available 801 Coffee is growing, and we are looking for dependable, friendly part-time baristas to join our team. This is a great role for someone who enjoys people, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating a great customer experience. We are especially interested in candidates with consistent availability for morning, weekend, closing, or flexible fill-in shifts. What You'll Do As a Barista at 801 Coffee, you will help customers feel welcome, prepare quality drinks and food items, keep the shop clean and organized, and support a smooth daily operation.
Responsibilities include:
Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service Take food and drink orders accurately Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, other beverages, and select food items Process cash, debit, and credit payments accurately Answer customer questions and make menu recommendations Keep the bar, equipment, seating area, and workspaces clean and stocked Complete opening, closing, and shift checklists Follow food safety and health standards Communicate customer feedback, supply needs, or equipment issues to management Work as part of a small team and help create a positive shop environment What We're Looking For The right person for this role is dependable, friendly, and comfortable working with customers.
You should have:
Strong customer service skills Good attention to detail Basic math and cash-handling ability A positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to stay calm and focused during busy periods Willingness to learn coffee preparation and shop procedures Consistent availability for scheduled shifts Active Food Handler's Permit, or ability to obtain one before starting Prior barista experience is helpful, but not required for the right candidate.
