Job Description
Working Availability Must have a wide range of weekday (including evenings) and weekend available. This role is intended for candidates with reliable year-round availability; high school students are encouraged to apply instead for our 'Ice Cream Staff' position. Who We Are Authors is a small-batch, premium ice cream and coffee company based out of Ashburn, Virginia that takes pride in embodying the values of family-owned craftsmanship, community togetherness, and the celebration of high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. Responsibilities Craft and serve delicious coffee beverages with precision and flair Master the art of scooping and serving our premium ice cream flavors Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met Provide excellent customer service and ensure a delightful experience for all customers Support day-to-day operations, including cashier duties and inventory management Assist with any set-up or clean-up needed in the shop Qualifications Must be able to work weekdays and weekends Creating a welcoming environment for customers Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude and wear multiple hats in regards to various shop duties Food Service / Barista experiences is preferred
