In person only Position Overview Affogato Europa Cafe is looking for a part-time barista with prior coffee experience who is ready to commit to a long-term role (12+ months) . This is not a seasonal or temporary position. You'll be working directly with our small team in a specialty coffee environment, preparing consistent, high-quality drinks and serving our regulars with professionalism and warmth. You should be comfortable taking initiative, working independently, and maintaining high standards every shift. Schedule & Availability 20-30 hours per week Sunday-Friday availiability required Opening shifts may start at 7:00 AM / Closing shifts typically end between 5:30 and 6:30 PM You must be available for both morning and afternoon shifts within this window. Responsibilities Prepare espresso-based drinks and other beverages with precision and consistency . Greet and serve customers with a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional attitude. Explain and serve our signature items, including Balkan pastries, acai bowls, and paninis . Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace throughout your shift. Accurately process orders and payments using our POS system ( Toast ). Perform opening and/or closing tasks independently when scheduled solo. Assist with restocking, rotating product, and communicating supply needs to management. Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent barista or specialty coffee experience (required). Able to commit to at least 12 months in this position. Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working both solo and as part of a small team. Able to quickly learn our systems, menu, and café flow. Must be available Sunday-Thursday within the hours of 7:00 AM-6:30 PM (mix of opening and closing shifts). Strong communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment .
