  Barista/Baristo

• Overview:

• We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Barista/Baristo to join our team.

Hours will be approximately 15-25 hours a week: Weekdays 11am-6 pm and weekends 7:30am-3pm. As a Barista/Baristo, you will excel in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing Moka Joe's famous coffee beverages and a variety of food items. • Duties:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and resolving inquiries or concerns
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages (e.g., lattes, cappuccinos, milkshakes)
• Prepare and serve food options such as parfaits, sandwiches, and pastries
• Operate the cash register accurately and handle transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, deli, and coffeehouse.
• Assist in restocking supplies as necessary
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
• Upsell additional products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales

• Requirements:

• Previous experience in customer service or food service preferred
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso equipment is preferred
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math proficiency for cash handling and order processing
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain consistency in beverage preparation
• Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds
• Must be able to work weekends and afternoons at minimum
