In this dynamic role, you will craft delicious beverages, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure the café operates smoothly and efficiently. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming environment, making each visit special for our customers. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Engage with customers warmly, providing friendly service and answering questions about menu items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas. Handle cash transactions, perform cash handling duties, and manage cashiering responsibilities with accuracy. Follow food safety protocols and food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of service. Qualifications Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover is a plus. Strong customer service skills with an energetic, positive attitude. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
