Job Description
Job Summary Join our team as a dedicated and energetic Barista! In this role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, crafting exceptional coffee and beverage experiences while delivering outstanding customer service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and eager to return. As a vital part of our team, you'll manage multiple responsibilities, from drink preparation to cash handling, all while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate sales transactions and cash handling Ensure food safety standards are consistently met by following proper food handling and preparation procedures Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, answering questions, and resolving concerns promptly Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation zones, seating areas, and equipment Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently while maintaining quality standards Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness Qualifications Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Experience in serving or food preparation within a café or retail setting is a plus Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours Join us if you're passionate about delivering memorable coffee experiences!
