Duties Prepare a variety of matcha beverages and teas Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit card payments, and process cash transactions with attention to detail and proper cash handling procedures Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food prep stations in accordance with food safety standards Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or concerns with enthusiasm Assist in food handling and preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety protocols Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve drinks quickly while maintaining quality standards Experience Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with beverage service techniques and matcha industry standards is a plus Experience with retail sales transactions Strong math skills for handling cash register operations, retail math calculations, and basic measurements in food preparation Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse guests Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is advantageous Join us as a Matchabae Barista and become part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional coffee experiences!
