We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and have a love for coffee and food service. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system efficiently to process customer orders and handle cash transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations when necessary to enhance their experience. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; assist in restocking as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the food service environment. Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere that encourages customer loyalty. Skills Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Experience with POS systems. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and a passion for the beverage industry. Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills to effectively assist customers and work as part of a team. Ability to handle cash responsibly and perform retail math calculations accurately.
