Benefits (Full-Time, 30+ hours/week) Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Disability insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Paid time off (PTO) About the Role Weatherly Inn is seeking a dependable and service-oriented COVE Assistant to support beverage preparation (food as needed), service, and customer experience in a fast-paced dining environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Key Responsibilities Assist with beverage preparation and service to ensure timely, high-quality drinks Provide friendly, efficient customer service within tight time constraints Maintain cleanliness of Cove and storage areas during and after shifts Ensure adequate beverage supplies and assist with planning drink preparation needs Follow all food safety, Department of Health, and Boarding Home regulations Support dining room service and kitchen prep as directed Communicate equipment issues or safety concerns promptly Recommend improvements to menus, service times, or pricing to leadership Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 1+ year of food service or related experience preferred Food Handler permit required within 14 days of hire ServSafe certification required Strong organizational, multitasking, and cashiering skills Comfortable in a customer-facing, fast-paced environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements Stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift We maintain a strong policy of Equal Employment Opportunity for all associates.
