Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks following established recipes and quality standards Operate POS systems Display and organize pastry displays Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision while processing all cash transactions securely Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas in compliance with food safety standards Manage retail sales transactions smoothly while upselling menu items to enhance customer experience Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times during beverage preparation and servingQualifications Previous barista experience or café background preferred; familiarity with beverage service techniques is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for accurate cash register operations and transaction processing Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
