Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Barista to join our mermaid theme traveling coffee trailer! In this role, ocean theme dress up is part of the job, as you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of high-quality beverages and food items. Whether you're crafting expertly brewed coffee or handling retail transactions, your positive attitude and dedication will help us provide an outstanding experience for every guest. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate POS systems such as Square efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately. Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness of the trailer, including food handling, beverage stations, and outside areas, adhering to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining a balanced cash drawer. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards and food safety regulations. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of service. Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in food service with a strong understanding of beverage preparation techniques. Familiarity with POS systems such as Square for efficient sales processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Strong knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety standards, and proper cleaning protocols. Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently. Previous café or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for the food industry is essential.
