Job Description
Job Title:
Barista Overview:
Join our cafe team as a Barista and be a part of creating exceptional experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will play a key role in providing high-quality beverages and creating memorable customer experiences in a fun, positive, and supportive environment. (Wage listed includes tips which can range from $6- $8/hr after training) This position is for 20-30 hours a week on weekends and some weekdays, at times between 6:00am and 5:00pm.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and other cafe beverages
- Provide friendly and memorable customer experiences
- Operate cash register, handle transactions accurately, and maintain a clean work area
- Assist in food preparation and maintain food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the cafe
Experience:
Required Skills:
- Barista or other restaurant/food service customer service experience
- Cash register and cash handling
- Food presentation and serving
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and safety protocols
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Food handling training and/or certification If you are passionate about serving customers coffee drinks, possess excellent customer service skills, and thrive in a busy yet fun environment, we invite you to apply for the Barista position.
