Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a full-time Coffee Barista, where your passion for coffee and exceptional customer service will create memorable experiences for every guest. In this energetic role, you will craft high-quality beverages, manage retail transactions with precision, and maintain a welcoming café environment. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by cleaning equipment, counters, seating areas, and food prep zones in compliance with food safety standards. Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about beverages and food offerings, and provide outstanding customer service. Follow proper food handling procedures during beverage preparation and food service to ensure safety and hygiene. Support team members in daily operations by managing time effectively and ensuring smooth service flow during busy periods. Experience Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely beverage preparation and customer satisfaction.
