Barista and Cashier arrow smoothies & cafe Racine, WI Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Seasonal | Contract $9 - $17 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Serving Customer communication Numeracy Attention to detail Food preparation Retail math Full Job Description Position Summary As a Cafe Team Member at Arrow Smoothies & Cafe, you will be responsible for preparing smoothies, smoothie bowls, coffee beverages, refreshers, paninis, and other menu items while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and hospitality. Key ResponsibilitiesFood & Beverage Preparation Prepare smoothies, smoothie bowls, coffee beverages, espresso drinks, refreshers, lemonades, and specialty drinks according to company recipes. Prepare paninis, breakfast items, toasts, and other food offerings. Ensure all products meet Arrow's quality, presentation, and portion standards. Maintain consistency across all menu items. Customer Service Welcome customers and create a positive experience. Accurately take and process orders through the POS system. Answer questions about ingredients, menu items, and promotions. Handle customer concerns professionally. Operations & Cleanliness Maintain a clean and organized café at all times. Wash dishes, blenders, pitchers, utensils, and food preparation equipment. Restock ingredients, cups, lids, food items, and supplies. Complete opening, shift, and closing duties according to company standards. Teamwork & Accountability Arrive on time and prepared for every shift. Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality. Communicate professionally with coworkers and management. Stay current on schedules, company updates, and operational procedures. Qualifications Customer service or food service experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and multitasking skills. Basic cash handling and POS experience preferred. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds. Reliable, professional, and team-oriented.
