Join The Gnoshery as a Full-Time Barista / Game Guide! Are you an energetic, people-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? The Gnoshery, a vibrant board game café, is looking for a Full-Time Barista / Game Guide to join our front-of-house team! This role is perfect for someone who loves creating exceptional guest experiences—whether that's crafting the perfect latte, handling a busy morning rush, or helping guests discover their next favorite game. As part of our opening team, you'll help set the tone for the entire day, delivering high-quality service and a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we open our doors.

Full-time (32-40 hrs a week)
What You'll Do:
As a Barista / Game Guide, you'll take on a dynamic role that blends beverage service, retail, and customer engagement:
Barista Expectations:
Craft and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with speed, accuracy, and consistency Handle high-volume rushes with confidence and efficiency, especially during peak hours Take and manage customer orders while maintaining a friendly, upbeat demeanor Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and organized throughout your shift Create a welcoming, high-energy environment for all guests Communicate clearly and effectively with both customers and team members Deliver food and beverages while ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience
Retail & Game Guidance:
Recommend and sell board games and retail products to customers Assist with stocking, organization, and maintaining retail displays Learn and guide guests through game selections based on their interests Teach and explain games in a fun, approachable way when needed Assist with event hosting. Ensure products are prepped, structure is followed and guests have a positive experiance.
Who You Are:
We're looking for someone who: Has prior experience in barista, bartending, or food service (required) Has retail experience (preferred) Has an interest in or knowledge of board games and/or CCGs (collectible card games) (preferred) Brings high energy and thrives during busy, high-volume periods (especially during tourist season) Has strong communication skills and enjoys engaging with customers Is organized, efficient, and detail-oriented Is friendly, reliable , and a strong team player Can perform well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude Why Join The Gnoshery?
