Responsibilities Supervise and support team members during your shift, ensuring they deliver outstanding customer service and adhere to food safety standards Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and consistency Oversee retail sales transactions using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, processing cash and card payments accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and dining spaces Assist in training new team members on food preparation, beverage service, cash handling, and customer engagement techniques Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods while upholding quality standards Support inventory management by monitoring supplies and communicating needs for restocking or maintenance Requirements Proven experience in food service or café environments with a strong background in barista duties and beverage preparation Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a retail or food industry setting is preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele Strong math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Basic time management skills to prioritize tasks during shifts Join us as a Barista Shift Leader where your enthusiasm fuels great experiences!
