Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Greet customers warmly, taking orders with enthusiasm and providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety regulations. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, give correct change, and balance cash drawers at shift end. Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring food safety standards are upheld at all times. Support team members during busy hours by managing multiple responsibilities such as serving drinks, cleaning workstations, and restocking supplies. Qualifications Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
