Job description We are looking for a part time barista to prepare and serve our products, including various types of coffee and tea, ice cream, and some baking. Grumpy baristas need not apply! Customer service and teamwork are the core of our business. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with a great experience, and we try to have fun while we do it!

shift runs from 6:30AM-2PM. PM shift runs from 2PM-8PM. Applicants who live locally year-round are prioritized. Barista/Server responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items, and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates.

this position's compensation includes hourly pay and tips. Responsibilities Greet customers as they enter Give customers drink menus and answer questions regarding items offered Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios) Prepare beverages and food items following recipes Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries, muffins, and ice cream Take and send customer food orders Communicate with the kitchen to ensure guests recieve their food in a timely manner Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) Keep the restaurant/cafe clean Maintain stock of clean equipment Ensure brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs Comply with health and safety regulations Communicate customer feedback and recommend new menu items Skills Previous work experience as a Barista or Waiter/Waitress preferred Flexibility to work various shifts Ability to gauge customers' preferences Excellent communication skills Food Handler's card or willingness to obtain required
