In this role, you'll be part of a fun, fast-paced environment where every day is a little different. You'll interact with customers, prepare coffee and gelato, serve food to-go, keep the shop clean and organized, and help wherever needed to make sure our guests have a great experience. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, takes pride in their work, and is willing to pitch in wherever needed . At our shop, we're a team—everyone helps with whatever needs to be done, whether that means making a latte, serving gelato, preparing a to-go order, cleaning tables, restocking, or helping a teammate. Responsibilities Welcome customers with a smile and provide friendly, attentive service Take food, beverage, and gelato orders Explain menu items and answer customer questions Prepare a variety of espresso-based drinks, coffee, and other beverages Serve gelato and prepare gelato orders Prepare and package food orders for dine-in and to-go Enter orders into the POS system accurately and efficiently Handle cash and credit card transactions when needed Bus tables and keep customer areas clean and welcoming Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, tables, and other areas as needed Restock supplies and help maintain an organized shop Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Work together with the team to keep operations running smoothly Be willing to jump in and help with whatever task is needed to support the team and our guests Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills Friendly, positive, and outgoing personality Ability to work well as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods Willingness to learn and take on different responsibilities Familiarity with food safety guidelines ServeSafe or Food Handler's Certification, or ability to obtain shortly after hiring Ability to stand for extended periods Reliable and dependable Previous barista experience is required.
