Job Description

Overview American Legion Post 1 American Legion Post 1 is looking for a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused Part-Time Bartender to join our team. If you enjoy providing excellent service in a welcoming, community-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Provide friendly, courteous customer service to members and guests Verify age and comply with all alcohol service laws and regulations Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar Operate the cash register/POS system and handle cash accurately Assist with opening and closing duties Help create a welcoming atmosphere during regular hours and special events

Qualifications:

Previous bartending or customer service experience preferred Current alcohol server permit/certification (or ability to obtain one) Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Excellent communication and people skills Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
