Role Description This is a full-time or part-time on-site Bartender role located in Opelika, AL. We are looking for bartenders who have high energy, a positive attitude, a great work ethic, a strong passion for hospitality, and who pay attention to detail. Duties:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age
• Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
• Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Prepare garnishes and stock bar inventory as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a bartender or in a similar role is required
• Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixing techniques
• Familiarity with different types of alcoholic beverages, including craft beers and cocktails
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with a diverse clientele
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating tips
• Ability to work in a fast
• paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol

Skills:

• Experience in the restaurant, catering, or food service industry is necessary
• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
• Familiarity with banquet operations for special events or functions
• Understanding of brewing processes for beer selection and recommendations
• Proficiency in bartending techniques, including mixing, pouring, and garnishing drinks
• Sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials or promotions Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects.

The ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is also necessary.
