Job Summary Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Barback, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create an exceptional experience for our guests. As a vital support to our bartenders and service staff, you'll ensure the bar area remains clean, well-stocked, and organized, enabling smooth and efficient beverage service. This role offers a dynamic environment where teamwork, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality come together to deliver memorable moments. Whether you're assisting with food prep, handling supplies, or maintaining cleanliness, your contributions will be essential in creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Duties Assist bartenders by restocking alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies quickly and accurately to meet customer demand Maintain cleanliness of the bar area including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and sanitizing equipment in compliance with food safety standards Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar and dining areas efficiently to keep the venue tidy and inviting Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, bottles, and equipment safely following proper procedures Support food service operations by helping with food preparation, plating, or delivery when needed in accordance with restaurant standards Ensure all bar cleaning duties are completed regularly to uphold hygiene standards and safety regulations Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure seamless service flow Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments such as bars, restaurants, or catering is highly desirable Knowledge of bar safety protocols including food handling and sanitation standards (e.g., Food Service Bar Safety Compliance) Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling throughout shifts Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and interact professionally with guests Basic math skills for managing transactions accurately and counting inventory Experience in venue beverage service or banquet/catering environments is a plus A friendly attitude with a focus on customer service excellence in fast-paced settings Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or special event hours as needed Join us as a Barback and be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality experiences!
