Job Description

The Greystone Grille is looking for an enthusiastic bartender/server to provide an excellent guest experience. Responsible for performing food and beverage service to diners while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails Plan and present bar menu Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Transmit orders to bar and kitchen Deliver orders to customers Will be trained to help prepare food Maintain table settings by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, being alert to customer's needs. Compute bill utilizing the Point of Sale System and collecting payment from the customer. Stay updated on menu choices, specials, etc. Assist with team members as necessary. Provide excellent customer service Comply with all food and beverage regulations Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age Previous experience as a bartender Previous experience as a server preferred Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks Computer literacy Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean Relevant training certificate such as TAM or TIPS Flexible schedules available, positions available year round.
