Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth dining flow. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, demonstrating cocktail experience and spirits knowledge. Provide detailed wine recommendations and upsell premium selections to enhance guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bar setup, dining tables, and beverage stations. Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling, preparation assistance, and serving. Engage with guests to promote specials or upsell menu items while delivering exceptional customer service that fosters guest loyalty. Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas promptly, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure seamless service. Process cash transactions accurately while managing POS systems like OpenTable or other reservation platforms. Uphold hospitality standards by managing guest relations professionally and addressing any concerns promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in fine dining service or upscale restaurant environments with a strong background in serving and bartending roles. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Demonstrated cocktail experience along with spirits knowledge; ability to craft classic and signature drinks confidently. Knowledge of wine varieties, food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy service hours. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced fine dining setting.
