Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as an Event Barback. As a key team member, you'll assist bartenders by maintaining a clean and organized bar area, setting up your team for success by handling beverage prep, and ensuring safety compliance at all times. Duties Support bartenders by restocking supplies, garnishes, cups, and beverage necessities efficiently to maintain seamless service flow Assist with cleaning bar areas, including wiping down surfaces, washing dishes, and ensuring sanitation standards are met Handling ice to ensure guests are receiving cold beverages Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of crates, cases, or supplies in accordance with safety protocols Support food preparation tasks when needed, including assembling garnishes or preparing simple snacks or accompaniments Experience Minimum of two years of experience working in bars, restaurants, nightclubs, or catering environments preferred Prior experience with food service bar safety standards and food handling procedures required Familiarity with venue beverage service operations and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact professionally with guests Experience in heavy lifting, manual handling, and working in fast-paced hospitality settings is essential Knowledge of food preparation, bussing, cleaning routines, and overall restaurant or banquet operations will set you apart Previous roles involving catering or event support are a plus Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering memorable experiences to the community!
