The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. This role requires a strong understanding of fine dining standards and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards. Maintain an organized and clean bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Engage with customers, providing excellent service while taking drink orders and offering recommendations based on their preferences. Operate the POS systems for order entry, cash handling, and payment processing. Demonstrate strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods, including banquets and catering events. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management. Uphold the restaurant's standards for hospitality, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their visit. Requirements Previous experience as a bartender in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred. Familiarity with Toast POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions. Experience in the food industry, including catering or banquet service, is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for brewing craft cocktails and an understanding of various beverage offerings is advantageous.
