In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert drink preparation, and a welcoming attitude. We have a Full bar and have pre-set cocktails, Wine and Beer. Our bar offer mostly organic ingredients, not your typical run-of-the-mill bars in a restaurant. Your enthusiasm for food and beverage service, combined with your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, will ensure our guests leave satisfied and eager to return. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table or bar service to create a memorable dining experience Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to recipes and presentation standards Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling areas, bar stations, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety regulations Upsell menu items including specialty drinks, wines, and food offerings to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including processing payments and giving accurate change Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery for dine-in guests Assist in opening or closing duties as required, including inventory checks and setup or cleanup of service areas Build strong guest relations by providing personalized service, addressing inquiries promptly, and ensuring comfort throughout the visit Skills Extensive knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including cocktail mixing and spirits expertise Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours without sacrificing quality of service Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Familiarity with wine knowledge and food safety standards in a restaurant or food industry setting Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and proper beverage presentation in fine dining or nightclub environments Ability to upsell effectively by understanding guest preferences and menu offerings Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred; hospitality background highly valued Knowledge of OpenTable reservation system is a plus for managing guest bookings efficiently Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences through energetic service, expert drink knowledge, and a positive attitude.
