Overview Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness to uphold food safety standards. Utilize POS systems such as Toast POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Develop new beverage recipes and recommend drink pairings to enhance guest satisfaction. Handle cash transactions with accuracy, perform basic math calculations for billing, and manage cash handling procedures. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies. Skills Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS. Proven ability in beverage recipe development, cocktail crafting, and wine knowledge. Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods seamlessly. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and effective communication abilities. Knowledge of fine dining standards, catering, banquet service, and food handling procedures. Experience in bar management or supervising bar staff is a plus. Familiarity with brewing processes, craft beer varieties, and beverage trends within the food industry. Ability to perform retail math accurately for sales transactions and inventory management.
